Lincoln Child Care Center

Child Care for Children Ages 2 ½  – 12 ½

The Lincoln Child Care Center offers quality child care to people living and working in the area.  All teaching staff are experienced early childhood educators.  All participate in programs of in-service education and work to remain current and informed of the ever changing needs of today’s families.  Our teaching assistants are also experienced in early childhood programs of in-service education.

All that we expect of your child is that he/she come to the center and be him/herself.  What we expect from the parents, is that you read the procedures in this handbook, in supplemental notes and newsletters, and that you feel free to be part of the center, offering suggestions, comments and constructive criticisms, as well as financial and moral support.

Our School

Philosophy

The educational philosophy of the Center is based on meeting the developmental needs of the children.  The program is based on the assumption that growth is a sequential and orderly process and that children pass through stages of development in a predictable sequence in their physical, emotional/social, and cognitive growth.  Further, we believe that children learn best from play.  Play is learning.  Our job is to provide activities and experiences that meet the children’s various abilities, interests and developmental stages.
